Emerald Bay Tours
A visit to Lake Tahoe isn’t complete until you have been
to this truly gorgeous scenic
bay. But, don’t just look at it from one of the crowded
vistas, experience it! Join us as we paddle at a leisurely
pace exploring the shallows and shoreline, observing nesting
osprey and other wildlife. This tour is not one you’ll
soon forget.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $65.00 OR
Time: 9a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $80.00
Includes: All kayak equipment, instruction and a guide.
Bring: Sunscreen, sunglasses, windbreaker, sun visor, or hat
and shoes that can get wet.
Sunset Tour
Brilliant colors and glass calm water make this tour unforgettable.
This is a great evening activity that will provide you with
a well-earned appetite. Plan on finishing the evening at one
of the great restaurants in the area.
Cost: $30.00, Time: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Truckee River Wildlife Tour
The largest marsh and river estuary at Lake Tahoe is a comfortable
paddle from our shop. You’ll get to paddle on Lake Tahoe
as well as experience this magnificent natural setting. You’ll
have opportunities to observe Terns, Bald Eagles, waterfowl
and a variety of shorebirds. You will never want to leave
this tranquil place as we paddle the shoreline back to Timber
Cove where you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the outdoor
café.
Cost: $45.00, Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Eastshore Tour (New)
Beautiful rock points and hidden sandy beaches (some clothing
optional) await you on this tour. We will paddle at a leisurely
pace enjoying views underwater that can exceed fifty feet
and then stop for lunch at one of the quiet coves. This is
a great tour for people that have done our Emerald Bay tour
or have some kayak experience.
Cost: $80.00, Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
